Bismark Maritime Pty Ltd provides the following shipping & logistical services in Papua New Guinea:

Shipping

Bismark Maritime has six vessels it uses to receive, load, discharge and dispatch cargo all around PNG. We have a weekly container and heavy machinery service between Lae and Port Moresby. We also have weekly shipping service between Lae and Lihir Gold Mine.

We are completely self sufficient, maintaining our own workshops and carrying out our own repairs to their Vessels, electronic equipment, machinery, etc all on the premises.

Tugboat Towing

Bismark Maritime can provide a 23 meter Twin Screw Tug boat, the Ebing to service your tugboat towing requirements. For more information regarding the Ebing click here.

Wharfage

Bismark Maritime operates from a private wharf and terminal in Lae, near the main wharf. Our wharf is capable of accommodating all of our vessels.

Stevedoring

Bismark Maritime perform the business of stevedoring on our own company vessels as well as for other ship owners.

Storage

Bismark Maritime's main receival warehouse has a floor area of 1400 square meters and can accommodate all of inward and outward cargo. We have an outside storage area for machinery and containers of three hectares.

Trucking

Bismark Maritime perform our own road transport to cart containers for our customers in Port Moresby and Lae.

Passenger Services

At present Bismark Maritime are focusing our interests in establishing a scheduled weekly service between the ports of Lae and Port Moresby. Bismark Maritime has been the exclusive coastal shipper to the Lihir Gold Mine for the past five years.
